High School Girls Regional Program

The regional program will have tryouts during the same time as the full season. Please indicate regional or full season when checking in at tryouts.

What is the difference between the regional program and the full season?

The Edge regional program goes from end of October/early November (depending on when the high school season ends) and finishes at the end of March. The full season goes from October/November though June. The regional program is designed for multi-sport athletes. Particularly those who are playing a spring sport (softball, track, etc.). The season ends the 2nd week in March which corresponds with the high school spring sport competition schedule. The regional teams will compete in 1 tournament per month.

How many teams will there be?
We are planning on having (1) team at the 15/16 age group and (1) team at the 17/18 age group. This is subject to change based on interest and court availability.

When are practices?
15/16U practices are Mondays from 7:30-9:30
17/18U practices are Wednesdays from 7:30-9:30

There will be a handful of Wednesday or Thursday competition days added to the schedule so the regional players will be able to compete with our full season athletes.
If regional athletes are looking for additional practices or are unable to come on their scheduled practice day, please email to make special accommodations. The Edge VBC is flexible. We want our athletes to get the most out of their time in the gym and foster their love of the game, so we will be as accommodating as we can.
