Additional Training


The Edge is excited to announce the addition of year-round individual volleyball lessons and in-house strength, conditioning & agility training.  Personal & small group training is also available to our athlete's families and friends at the same price  (you do not need to be an Edge athlete to take advantage of the personal training opportunities) . We are looking forward to working together to help every athlete and their families achieve their goals!

  • SEMI-PRIVATE VOLLEYBALL LESSONS (bring a group of 3-5 players)
  • PARTNER TRAINING (2 individuals)
  • GROUP TRAINING (3-6 individuals)
  • EXERCISE PLAN (one monthly meeting & individualized workout plan to complete independently)


Private Volleyball Lessons*

 1 Hour: $60 
Edge Athlete  1/2 Hour: $35 


Non-Edge Athlete  1 Hour: $70
Non-Edge Athlete  1/2 Hour: $40

Partner Volleyball Lessons (2 athletes)*
Edge Athletes  1 Hour: $35/athlete
Non-Edge Athletes  1 Hour: $40/athlete

Semi-Private Volleyball Lessons (3-5 athletes)*
Edge Athlete  1 Hour: $25/athlete
Non-Edge Athlete  1 Hour: $30/athlete

Personal Training*
1 Hour: $65
1/2 Hour: $35

Partner Training (2 individuals)*
1 Hour: $35/individual

Small Group Training (3-6 individuals)*
1 Hour: $30/individual

Exercise Plan (monthly session & individualized workout plan to complete independently)

*Please note there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations are only valid via email or phone call. You will be responsible for payment if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson.


Coach & Trainer Lisa Dobie
Lisa has been coaching volleyball for 14+ years and has been at the Edge VBC for 10. She has coached athletes from middle school to college age. As a former setter, she specializes in setter training but has a strong knowledge base of all the positions. For the past 3 years, she has been gaining experience as a personal trainer - earning her personal trainer certification from the nationally accredited American Council on Exercise (ACE) and her level one USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach certification. She also has her Masters of Public Health with an emphasis on Health Education and Promotion. She worked at Fitness Formula Clubs in Chicago where she trained clients one-on-one and teaches weightlifting focused classes in their Performance Training Center. Lisa is offering individual volleyball lessons or one-on-one strength and agility opportunities. Please email or text Lisa for availability.
